Now is the Time for Road Building/Maintenance, Grading, and Drainage Repairs

It seems the cold weather brings a slow down in most sectors of the excavating and landscaping industry. But our machines don't need to hibernate just because it's cold outside.

Repairing roads and driveways, rerouting wayward drainage, and grading fields in advance of the next irrigation season are all tasks that can be accomplished from November to March.

Many repair issues reveal themselves during the irrigation season but with the water flowing, the harvest coming in, squeezing a vacation into the summer schedule, and back-to-school business it's difficult to address those maintenance issues until after the sprinkler system has been winterized.

Below are some examples of field and driveway grading and drainage repair we've accomplished in recent weeks. As always, we make dirt look good!

Cut back the hillside so customer can drive and park along side the building
Grading to improve water runoff from the hillside

Improving a rough yard with grading and grass seed

Removed grass, filled in the big hole, improved drainage
Now it's a large gravel compacted parking area
What to do with surplus material? We created a low-maintenance landscape feature using existing plants & boulders.
